WyeSoft Peg Solitaire is a ZX Spectrum version of the traditional board game, peg solitaire. Players are able to choose from 11 different solitaire boards, including the standard English and French/European boards.

Although WyeSoft Peg Solitaire was designed for PC emulators and systems like Retro's "The Spectrum", it should be possible to play it on a real ZX Spectrum (48K+). To do so, you would need to convert the .TAP file to an audio file using a utility like TAP2WAV and either record it onto a cassette tape or play it from a PC to the Spectrum via an AUX cable. Any modification or file manipulation required to achieve this is fully permitted by WyeSoft.

How to play
-----------
The aim is to remove all pegs from the board, leaving only one peg in the
central hole.  To remove a peg, jump over it horizontally or vertically with an
adjacent peg, into an empty hole.  The game ends when no further moves are
possible.

Supported controllers
---------------------
WyeSoft Peg Solitaire supports the keyboard, as well as both Kempston and
cursor joysticks.

Custom colours

To set up your own colour scheme, press SYMBOL SHIFT and C together while
in-game and then enter the desired colour code (0-7) for each element, in the
following order, followed by the ENTER key:

 6    Hole
 7    Centre hole
 8    HUD label text
 9    HUD value text
10    HUD key text
11    Game over text
12    You win text

If you are playing WyeSoft Peg Solitaire on an emulator, you may want to make
use of save state features to save your custom colour scheme for future games.

Playing on original hardware
